Gethin MTB is a company located in Merthyr Tydfil, next to Gethin Woods, that provides quality Bike Hire, Guided Rides and MIAS (Mountain Bike Instructor Awards Scheme) qualifications. We cater for Mountain Bikers, Roadies and BMX bandits, supplying training to match your personal needs.

Our guides and instructors have extensive local knowledge of the many natural trails, as well as unrivalled experience in trail centres such as Afan Argoed, Brechfa, Forest of Dean, Glyncorrwg, The Brecon Beacons, Nant Arian, Cwmcarn etc.

Bike Park Wales is the biggest MTB development in the UK, arguably the most eagerly awaited gravity park ever, and Gethin MTB are ideally placed to help you benefit from its success and development. It offers graded trails to suit all abilities along with an uplift service to take the strain out of those tired legs allowing the rider to concentrate fully on the enjoyment of going down the perfect trails designed by none other than Rowan Sorrell, trail design legend. We don’t offer coaching or guiding within Bike Park Wales but you can hire bikes from us and ride there.
