Develop your Personal Riding Skills

Each course is structured around the individuals taking part. Expert tuition over the best trails in South Wales, trail centre or natural terrain and our unrivalled knowledge of the local area means you get to ride the secret tracks only known to us!

All of our coaches and guides are fully qualified MIAS Mountain Bike Instructors and are recognised as the best coaches on the mountain bike scene. They are all fully CRB checked and hold a current valid First Aid certificate. Above all they are professional, ensuring you develop at the correct pace.

Coaching and developing your skills is the name of the game. We will, with constant observation, develop your riding skills and move you onto the next level.

Get Started

Getting professional instruction early on in your Mountain Bike career means you learn the best ways to ride over all parts of the trail, so your cornering, braking, flow through rocky terrain and overall bike control will get a huge boost in just a half or one day training session.

Skills Modules are integrated into each course.

Developing single-track skills, focusing on the skills needed to handle technical and high speed single-track riding maintaining overall bike control and rider balance. Controlling the brakes is an important element on this module before tackling high and low speed cornering, an encounter with berms, negotiating rooty and rock strewn sections.

Tabletops, Jumps, Drops and Stumble Bumps

This module of the course shows you the right way to tackle these obstacles and really start to enjoy riding over them. Riding centre trails are incorporating more of the above and still many riders choose to roll over them or just hit them at speed with fingers crossed. We work on body position to control and guide takeoff, prepare for landing and show you how to control every element of the jump.

Speed and Flow

This module that can be incorporated into your course and is all about going very fast. If you want to race or just enjoy high speed riding on all parts of the trail then this is for you. This module is not one we programme into the schedule as it contains a mix of elements from the above two courses, can be run over 1 or 2 days and is generally booked by groups of friends or mountain bike clubs, rather than individuals. This option is also available as 1-2-1 training

All modules of our training courses have been developed in line with the best teaching practices.
